I met the vivacious and infectious (in a good way) Bernadette Alice Francis a couple of weeks ago.  Bernadette is a lady of many talents it seems but she is also a buyer for iconic Melbourne boutique Alice Euphemia and a recent RMIT fashion graduate.  Her graduate collection Onomatopoeia was an experiment in marrying together the aural, visual and kinetic but what I really enjoy is the way in which she makes use of colour.  Her body of work is really worth having a look at.

Winter is my favourite season and quite frankly it can't roll around quick enough.  I am so looking forward to getting back into some layers and longer lengths.  Stephanie Downey of Dress Up has come up with yet another stellar collection for AW 13, promising to keep us warm with patchwork drawstring dresses and sensible trench coats.  The only thing I am going to miss about Summer is wearing my Dress Up mustard palms print shift from her collection just gone.
